رؤيا نيوز – زار المركز الوطني للبحوث الزراعية وفد رفيع المستوى من ولاية نبراسكا (الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية) ضم اكاديميون من جامعة نبراسكا الأمريكية وممثلين عن القطاع الخاص والمزارعين بالتنسيق مع غرفة التجارة الأمريكية العربية الوطنية بالتعاون مع غرفة تجارة الأردن ، لبحث سبل التعاون المستقبلي في العديد من المجالات العلمية ولاسيما الزراعية منها، وتعزيز البحث العلمي.
ورحب مدير عام المركز الوطني للبحوث الزراعية الدكتور نزار حداد بمد جسور التعاون والتشبيك مع غرفة التجارة الأمريكية، من خلال الإستثمار وتسليط الضوء على إدارة المياة المستدامة، المبيدات الحشرية، الأعلاف والمطاحن، تقنيات الري، المنتجات الغذائية، المواشي، والاستزراع السمكي.
واعرب حداد عن متانة العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين مثمناً دور غرفة التجارة الأمريكية في تاطير التعاون وتقدير الإمكانات الأردنية في المجالات الزراعية، مؤكدا على أن المركز الوطني للبحوث الزراعية دأئب منذ نشاتة على توظيف مخرجات البحث العلمي والعمل سويا مع الشركاء المحليين والدوليين الداعمين لمسيرة تطوير القطاع الزراعي وتحقيق الاستدامة الزراعية والأمن الغذائي.
وثمن السيد مارك ماك هارجو رئيس مجلس الزراعات الأمريكية دور المركز الوطني للبحوث الزراعية الريادي في عكس صورة الأردن أمام الشركاء والنجاحات التي حققها المركز في تطوير القطاع، مؤكداً دعم الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية للإستثمار الزراعي في الأردن من خلال إدخال تقنيات حديثة وتبادل الخبرات العلمية بين الطرفين، لافتاً إلى أن البيئة الاردنية مناسبة للعديد من الزراعات وان المنتجات الأردنية غزت العديد من دول العالم وخاصة في مجال التمور والخضار نتيجة لجودة المنتج الاردني والذي يعد منافس للمنتجات العالمية.
A high-level US delegation visits NARC
A high-level delegation from the state of Nebraska (USA) which included academics from the American University of Nebraska, representatives of the private sector and farmers, visited NARC to discuss possible ways of future cooperation in many scientific and agricultural fields, to promote scientific research. This visit comes in coordination with the American Arab National Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Jordan Chamber of Commerce.
The Director-General of NARC, Dr. Nizar Haddad, welcomed the delegation members and expressed NARC’s willingness to offer potential opportunities of cooperation and networking with the American Chamber of Commerce, through investment highlighting sustainable water management, pesticides, fodder and mills, irrigation techniques, food products, livestock, and fish farming.
Haddad assured the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, sincerely appreciating the role of the American Chamber of Commerce into harnessing cooperation, alongside the Jordanian capabilities in the agricultural field. He further emphasized that NARC has been striving since its inception to employ the outputs of scientific research and work together with local and international partners in order to support the process of developing the agricultural sector to achieve agricultural sustainability and food security.
Mr. Mark McHargue, President of Nebraska Farm Bureau valued the pioneering role of NARC that reflects Jordan’s image to its partners, alongside the successes achieved by it in developing the sector, and he assured the United States’ support for the agricultural investment in Jordan through the introduction of modern technologies and the exchange of scientific expertise between the two countries. He indicated that the Jordanian environment is suitable for many crops, and that Jordanian products spread widely in the world, especially palm dates and vegetables, which are considered parallel in high quality as worldly products.
