Aqaba Transport and Logistics Company (ATLC) explains that a sudden fire occurred in one of its buses operating on the Anwar Makkah-University line today in the Manara area, while the bus was returning empty of passengers to the company's garages after the end of its shift.
The company confirms that the driver is in good health and no injuries were recorded, as he immediately followed safety procedures and communicated with the Civil Defense, which dealt with the incident quickly and efficiently with the support of the competent authorities.
The damage was limited to material losses in the bus, while the concerned authorities initiated an investigation to determine the technical causes of the fire, and the bus was transferred to the company's garage to inventory the damage and start repair procedures in accordance with the approved safety standards.
The company reiterates its commitment to applying the highest safety standards, and the continuity of the service without interruption by providing an alternative bus, appreciating the quick and professional efforts of the Civil Defense and all concerned authorities.
