Trump: Many bombs will explode if the ceasefire with Iran ends tomorrow.
US President Donald Trump said on Monday that many bombs would start exploding if the ceasefire with Iran ended on Tuesday, adding that the goal of the ongoing talks with Tehran remains preventing it from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Trump confirmed in a statement to the public broadcaster that he did not know whether Iran would participate in the Islamabad talks, but said that Washington had agreed to attend, and that Tehran's non-participation was not a problem for him.
Trump also announced his rejection of Energy Secretary Chris Wright's assessment that gasoline prices might not fall below three dollars until later this year or next year, arguing that they would fall sharply if the escalation ended and Iran did what it should do.
