US President Donald Trump said that talks will be held between Israel and Lebanon on Thursday, in a move aimed at calming tensions between the two sides.
Trump added that the Israeli and Lebanese leaders would hold direct talks, noting that “it has been a long time since the two leaders spoke, about 34 years, and it will happen tomorrow.”
He added that the United States is “trying to provide breathing room between Israel and Lebanon.”
