The referees' department of the Football Association acknowledged that the refereeing team's decision in the postponed match between Al-Faisaly and Al-Hussein Irbid, which was postponed from the fifteenth round of the Professional Football League and which was held last Sunday and ended with Al-Faisaly winning by a clean goal, was incorrect.
The referees' department admitted on the "Decision" program via YouTube that the goal came from a precise offside position on Al-Faisaly defender Muhannad Khairallah, who scored the only goal of the match.
The match was officiated by a refereeing team from Syria, led by referee Firas Al-Taweel, at the request of Al-Hussein Irbid Club.
