Queen Alia International Airport is among the top 100 airports worldwide.

Airport International Group, the Jordanian company operating Queen Alia International Airport, announced that the airport has been included for the first time in its history in the list of the top 100 airports in the world for 2026, according to the Skytrax World Airport Awards.

The group said in a statement on Wednesday that this ranking came after Queen Alia Airport ranked 97th globally, making progress from 111th place as of 2025, according to the Skytrax ranking, reflecting the group’s continuous efforts, enhanced by the support of partners, to improve the quality of airport services and enhance its operational efficiency, which contributes to improving the passenger experience.

The group indicated that the airport's ranking in this advanced position demonstrates its growing global presence and reflects its continuous growth trajectory in line with the highest international standards of excellence, forming an incentive to continue its commitment to enhancing the passenger experience and maintaining the highest levels of operational efficiency, in parallel with raising the quality of services.

She explained that this ranking is indicative of the close cooperation with the parent company, Aéroports de Paris, which allows it to benefit from its strategic guidance and support and to implement best practices adopted within its global network of airports.

The group's chief executive, Nicolas Devilliers, said that this ranking is a testament to the unwavering dedication and efforts of the teams and all partners who work tirelessly to deliver a seamless and comfortable travel experience.

He added that the group is keen to fulfill its promise and commitment to making every traveler feel at home, stressing that this ranking reflects the progress made in embodying this promise on the ground, and continuing to develop services at the airport and maintain the highest operational standards.

It was able to achieve fourth place in the category of best regional airports in the Middle East for 2026, sixth place in the category of best airport staff in the Middle East, and eighth place in the category of best airport in the world for the 5-10 million passengers category for 2026, which confirms its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of excellence and enhancing its position as a leading air hub in the region.
