His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II sent a message of support to the national team on their historic achievement of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup finals, saying: “All of Jordan is behind you, and we have great confidence in you,” and wishing them success.
During his chairmanship of a meeting at the Jordanian Football Association on Tuesday, His Highness pointed to the importance of the achievements made by the national football team, stressing that they came as a result of great national and institutional effort, and praising the efforts of the Federation, led by His Highness Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein, the Federation’s president, which contributed greatly to the advancement of the Jordanian football system.
For his part, Prince Ali appreciated the Crown Prince’s support for the sports sector, especially football, noting the importance of focusing on the morale of the players and the Jordanian fans, especially in the World Cup.
His Highness listened to an explanation from officials and those concerned in the Federation about the national team’s preparations to participate in the World Cup finals, and the efforts to develop the football system in Jordan.
