On Wednesday, the Southern Military Region thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics using three drones on its western front, in coordination with the military security services and the anti-narcotics department.
The drones were spotted by the border guard forces, and the rules of engagement were applied to them and they were shot down inside Jordanian territory, while the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities.
