On Sunday and Monday morning, the staff of the Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority, Internal Control Directorate, carried out a large security campaign in cooperation with the security authorities in the Southern Shuna/Deir Alla and Ajloun/Arjan area, accompanied by the Water Basins Directorate and the Central Workshops Directorate, to control and fill in wells and remove encroachments on water sources.
This resulted in the seizure of a well in South Shuna, Deir Alla, dug on treasury lands, and the establishment of 3 desalination stations and electrical panels. In Ajloun/Arjan, an illegal well with a diameter of 105 mm was seized, and the site was raided, the illegal wells were filled in, all illegal encroachments were removed, and the papers were referred to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures in this regard.
